Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of an Integration Engineer in Netcompany?

Joining us as an Integration Engineer, you will  design and implement scalable integration solutions using ESB tools. You will work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to build secure and reliable services that connect core business systems. 

As an Integration Engineer you will: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable integration solutions using enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies and established integration patterns
  • Translate business and technical requirements into reliable integration flows across APIs, messaging systems (MQ), and file-based channels
  • Build and support reusable services and integration components to enable secure and performant system interoperability
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and other developers to define integration designs and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
  • Develop data transformations using ESQL, Java, XSLT, or equivalent tools, and implement custom logic as needed
  • Design and expose REST/SOAP APIs and manage secure interfaces for internal and external consumption
  • Conduct unit and system testing, support UAT, and provide post-deployment support and monitoring
  • Troubleshoot integration issues in production and non-production environments and drive timely resolutions
  • Follow industry best practices for source control, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, documentation, and support readiness
     
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in middleware/integration development, using enterprise service bus (ESB) tools such as:
  • IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), WSO2, or Software AG WebMethods
  • Strong skills in:
    • Designing and developing integration logic across APIs, message queues, and file-based systems
    • ESQL, Java, or similar for message transformations and custom logic
    • Working with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and related standards
  • Good understanding of secure integration practices using OAuth2, JWT, mutual TLS, etc.
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting capabilities in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including technical documentation and cross-team interaction

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) for developing message flows and integration services
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Helm) for build, test, and deployment automation
  • Understanding of event-driven integration using platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ
