Job Description
Are you ready for a sneak-peek in the day of a ITSM Configuration Manager in Netcompany?
As an ITSM Configuration Manager you will:
- Drive the development, adoption, and standardization of Configuration Management best practices across ITSM processes.
- Contribute to the definition of the Configuration Management strategy, objectives, and roadmap, ensuring alignment across services.
- Ensure the Configuration Management process and CMDB framework are implemented, fit for purpose, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Facilitate advisory and tactical boards, engaging stakeholders to ensure process governance and alignment.
- Oversee the centralized CMDB and associated toolset, ensuring integration, data quality, and ongoing optimization.
- Establish clear roles and accountability for Configuration Process Owners, CI Owners, and Controllers.
- Define, monitor, and report on Configuration Management KPIs to drive process effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Maintain process documentation in the knowledge management system and lead regular reviews to enhance maturity and reliability.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT service management, preferably in multi-tower and multi-site environments.
- Strong understanding of IT service management best practices and standards (e.g., ITIL, IT4IT).
- Proven experience in delivering ITSM processes across complex environments.
- Competency in various planning and process improvement methodologies; strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and statistics for forecasting and decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver presentations clearly and effectively. Command of English is required; French is a strong plus.
- Relevant certifications in at least one of the following areas:
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional
- ITIL v3 Intermediate / Expert / MALC
- IT4IT
- UML, BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Modelling)
- OMG Certified Expert in BPM (OCEB)
