The Norwegian transport group Vy has chosen Netcompany as a partner for product development under its new framework agreement for IT consultancy services. The agreement is Netcompany’s first with Vy and marks the company’s second major agreement in the Norwegian transport sector in 2026, following the partnership with Go-Ahead Norway in March.
Vy, the largest land-based transport group in the Nordic region with more than 220 million passenger journeys a year, has chosen Netcompany as one of two partners for product development. Product development is the largest of three areas in the new framework agreement, which has a total maximum value of up to NOK 800 million over a four-year period.
Netcompany has extensive experience in the transport sector and will deliver consultancy services within product development. As part of the agreement Netcompany will take over several tasks from a previous supplier.

For Netcompany, the agreement builds on the company’s growing commitment to the transport sector across the Nordics and Europe, where Netcompany has, among other things, built an AI-powered system for DSB (the Danish State Railways) that predicts train delays with 95 percent accuracy within three minutes. In March 2026, the company also entered a partnership with Go-Ahead Norway to strengthen the handling of disruptions and maintenance through Netcompany’s PULSE platform.
Netcompany also brings experience from the European airport industry into the partnership. The company delivers digital infrastructure to Copenhagen Airport, Munich Airport and London Heathrow, in addition to being the strategic digitalisation partner for Avinor in Norway.
