Netcompany to play key role in protecting critical Nordic infrastructure

Netcompany has entered into an agreement with a key Nordic entity on digital surveillance and protection of critical infrastructure. The agreement involves the use of Netcompany’s defence and resilience platform VERÁ.

As part of the agreement, Netcompany will play a crucial role in protecting and monitoring critical societal infrastructure for an unnamed key Nordic entity. Among other things, the agreement covers underwater surveillance and protection.

Under the agreement, Netcompany will use its VERÁ platform and experience with complex, business-critical IT solutions to give the unnamed customer access to real-time monitoring, protection, and decision support.

»Critical infrastructure is the backbone of a modern society, and the ability to detect and respond to threats in real time is essential. We use Netcompany’s VERÁ platform to bring data together into a single, AI-driven situational overview, identify potential risks, and suggest timely actions. This creates the ability for a fast, coordinated, and targeted response, where incidents can be isolated and stability restored,« says Charlotte Wetche, Partner and Director, Defence and Resilience, Netcompany.

VERÁ is built on Netcompany’s PULSE technology, which is used to monitor and optimise operations at several airports and utility companies. VERÁ was launched in October 2025 as one of Netcompany’s solutions for European defence and resilience.
